One of the most courted ladies by worldwide cannabis growers

Critical + is an all-in-one feminised cannabis seed regarded as one of the greatest cannabis ladies of all time: she grows very easily, she produces spectacular yields, her taste and aroma are simply unbeatable, and her potent effect provokes an impressive 'high' that everyone wants to try.

At Dinafem Seeds we felt the urge to create something really special. How did we do it? By crossing a Big Bud with a selection of Skunks, we obtained a remarkably charismatic marijuana strain with an amazing overall quality. One of the most highly regarded strains of our collection and the favourite of many growers!

Since her release in 2005, she has become more and more successful, with many awards honouring her value.

Morphology

Critical + turns into very Sativa-looking marijuana plants: tall, sometimes reaching heights of 2.5 m outdoors, with large internodal spacing and jagged, thin and elongated leaves. However, she is very quick, a trait more typical of Indica genetics. Her buds are large, heavy, compact and full of resin.

Yield

Critical + is an international reference if what we’re looking for is an amazingly quick and bountiful crop. In fact, this heavy-producer can provide up to 625 g/m2indoors and some 1300 g/plant outdoors. A heavy yield is always guaranteed!

Aromas and flavours

Critical + gives off a very strong and fresh scent of lemon which is unique but incredibly well-balanced. As a matter of fact, this is one of her distinguishing features, the one that all those who already know her instantly identify. An unmistakable badge of identity!

Effects

Critical + is a slightly Indica-dominant THC-rich strain, meaning she delivers a physically relaxing and narcotic effect that is suitable for people suffering from stress. A balanced high that starts with a very pleasant cerebrally stimulating sensation and turns more relaxing as time passes by.

Cultivation

Critical + is not only stable and vigorous, but she is ready for harvest in a remarkably short time. In fact, she grows so fast and so strong that, if you're intending to grow indoors, it's paramount you keep the area clean and tidy so that every plant has enough space to grow comfortably and show their full potential. Some staking is also likely to be necessary because, at some point, their branches won’t be able to hold the weight of the buds.

Outdoors, she thrives in temperate Mediterranean climates or under the protection of the greenhouse. Her only weak point is her limited resistance to moisture but, thanks to her fast growth, she's rarely affected by it. Performing well with SCROG and SOG, any trimming technique can be used on her (topping, fimming, super cropping...). Her aroma is so intense that you’d better opt for guerrilla growing outdoors and not for your city balcony or terrace. Indoors, using anti-odour filters is essential to prevent the neighbours from taking notice of our crop.
